Deleting your account
You can close your Bano Qabil Jobs account at any time, from the app, without asking anyone. You can also take your public page down on its own and keep the account.
Delete your account
Open the Bano Qabil Jobs app, go to Settings, and choose Delete account. You’ll be asked to confirm. This works the same way for a candidate account and an employer account.
What happens straight away
Your public profile page is unpublished the moment the request is made, along with every URL that pointed at it. It disappears from search on this site immediately, and search engines drop the removed page on their next crawl.
Your account is marked as closed and you’re signed out. You stop appearing to employers, and any conversation you were part of stops showing your profile.
Take your page down without closing your account
If you want to stop being findable but keep applying for jobs, ask us to unpublish your profile. Your page and its links are removed and you keep your account, your applications and your messages.
Jobs you already applied for
An employer you applied to keeps the application they already received, in the same way an employer keeps a CV you emailed them. Deleting your account stops any new employer seeing you.
Questions
Anything you’re not sure about, ask through the app before you delete. A closed account can’t be asked questions on your behalf. See also our privacy page, which lists exactly what is published and what never is.
